3M Steri-Strip Adhesive Skin Closures (Reinforced) R1542 are sterile skin-closure strips made of a porous, non-woven backing coated with a pressure-sensitive, hypoallergenic adhesive and reinforced with polyester filaments. Steri-Strip skin closures can be used in the closure of lacerations, surgical incisions, and following early suture/staple removal. The micro-porous material is strong, and comfortable to wear. The non-invasive design provides wound support and assists in increasing the tensile strength of the wound. Used properly, these strips also provide a better cosmetic outcome than sutures or staples. Product and package are latex free. Size: 0.25” x 1.5”/6mm x 38mm.
